Well bad öööö happens when you run the ball apparently.Running it would’ve taken more, except for the injury. Running also gives you a chance to get the first down and win with the ball.

The pass on third down was dumb. But running on the last drive was the right call. Texas had 2 timeouts. They should have taken knees the series before too and the game would be over
Looks like putting in undefeated teams was a good idea, eh?
There were definitely 2 seconds left on the clock when that pass was incomplete, and if it had been any other situation, the clock would have stopped 2 seconds quicker than it did. But the person running the clock deliberately let it run off, obviously knowing they would change it, but it adds one more potential element of controversy and bullshit to the spectacle because obviously football is not enough.Oh man we get another Texas 1 second gift
I thought about that too but really 2 seconds is the same as 1 second. You have one last play regardless. There were definitely 2 seconds left on the clock when that pass was incomplete, and if it had been any other situation, the clock would have stopped 2 seconds quicker than it did. Yeah, there was no way the game was going to end there and they ran it down to :00, knowing that. And whoever triggers the "FINAL" thing on ESPN's scorebug did the exact same thing. It's cheap television bullshit.I thought about that too but really 2 seconds is the same as 1 second. You have one last play regardless.
