It's them against the world bro. Nobody believed in them bro, nobody. The whole world said they'd die in shame if they even tried bro. But here they are bro, and one of them is going to lose and prove every horrible thing that literally nobody has said about them.Oh look another we were the underdogs we showed them bs.
A potential problem with that is a team faking injuries for free timeouts on top of running clock.Stupid rule that a winning team with the ball who gets a player injured stops the clock until the next snap. So now we know what to do if someone is running out the clock on us. Hurt someone. In tonight’s situation you should start a 25 second countdown when the injured player gets off the field.
Wrong. Didn’t you see that Dillon kid from Washington that got hurt? Gonna replace them with the ööööing dwags.the committee’s gonna meet tonight. Alabama still makes it to the final.
A solution may be to allow a team to trade a timeout to run the clock after an injury. That way they can't fake injuries for free timeouts while simultaneously running down the clock. They are just doing something they otherwise could've done using their timeout.A potential problem with that is a team faking injuries for free timeouts on top of running clock.
I swear I thought the clock was supposed to start back after an injury timeout if it occurred during a running clock period. I thought I saw that happen in the Bama/Michigan game but can't remember when exactly. I saw someone go down, clock stopped, they got up and off fairly quickly though and the refs wound the clock again. Maybe if play stops for a certain amount of time, they do not start it back, but I don't understand why not. It should be a 25 second play clock with both game/play clock starting on the refs ready for play signal.A potential problem with that is a team faking injuries for free timeouts on top of running clock.
I agree with you that the current rule is problematic and should be changed.
They’ll run it on the refs signal which is usually after the ball is set and such. But I don’t know that it has to be.I swear I thought the clock was supposed to start back after an injury timeout if it occurred during a running clock period. Texas had the option and declined the runoff, which would have taken 10 seconds off and started the playclock at 25. I’d imagine the competition committee (or whatever it’s called) will take a look at it in the future. You don’t want players trying to pull injured players off the ground if they are seriously hurt. You also don’t want players taking injuries to gain an advantageI swear I thought the clock was supposed to start back after an injury timeout if it occurred during a running clock period. All you need to reach that milestone is be a dog that can stand up on all 4 legs for a minute without dying.Consider the bulldog......
......then witness a superior dog
The fact that the games were good doesn’t change the committee ööööing an undefeated power 5 champion.I still believe it should have been fsu in bama's spot. However, I think we ended up with 2 excellent semifinal games and the best 2 undefeated teams in the championship. Also ensures the dwags have no argument to try and angle for #1 in the AP since the National Champion is guaranteed to be undefeated.
FSU’s backup was certainly as capable as Milroe. I’m so glad that the committee decided that bama looks better getting off the bus and could win so that we got treated to a quarterback performance of 116 yards passing and 6(?) sacks.I still believe it should have been fsu in bama's spot.
