I wanna do this every Monday after a game to see your approval rating for the HC. i just thought of it so this one starts Tuesday afternoon. Poll will close on Friday. Private voting, no changing vote and must vote to view results.
 
Lots of qualifiers fight for priority in my mind for a binary question like this.

Branding and recruiting: 100% approve.

On field performance: TBD, if I am honest. A lot will depend on how he handles this season in the “CEO” capacity. The coordinators flat did not get it done vs NIU. Collins owns that in the end but it’s probably hard to tell where you stand with confidence until you start playing other teams. Coord’s got a pass in year 0 and year 1 so this is their probably their first true assessment against ‘should be’ but they’ve had 2 years to prep for the exam. Apart from a significant course correction on offense, CDP is gone by year end as the sacrificial lamb. I think CGC is more likely to cut bait on OC if he feels he can lean in and ‘help’ DC, for better or worse.

I’m not in the camp lambasting him for pulling the FG unit to go for it on 4th. Crowd reaction as a correlation is not definitive enough to me as reasoning for his action but I see where that argument comes from.

I don’t read too much into press conference fodder as a barometer for the locker room conversation that will go on. I’m curious to see player statements ahead of next week as they are usually less tactful about what’s going on.

On the strength of the above, I guess I’m still in the Approve camp when strictly opposed to Disapprove but it’s thinner than thin after NIU.

I've been a pretty big cheerleader for Geoff because I want him to succeed and I like the recruiting and culture. However, this öööö doesn't matter if we keep losing to öööö teams.

I disapprove. The on the field coaching has been abysmal and this is year 3. Stop wasting timeouts. Take the points. Don't try and run 3 new players on the field when the other team is running tempo. Fix this basic öööö.

On a side note, we didn't have many penalties which was something that killed us last year. I think that got lost in the justifiable freakoutery over the other issues, but that progress is one positive to take from the game. Hooray?
 
I can't turn that big of a 180 in one game, no matter how bad it was. Approve with new reservations.
 
Can't lose to a G5 team...should not have first string in after the first half this week....get rid of the stupid ATL BS and all the other Rah Rah BS. Let the band play what it wants...öööö a money down....get tough.
 
I changed it so results can be viewed without voting.
 
I have been on four tech blogs in lAst few yrs and at 73 am very partial to tradition.........I dont like the unis especially when we play all blue or white but sure like to see tech win even if they play in pajamas.all I have seen is smoke and shake...we are so 404 eating up I think we forget that winning will be our greatest pr step.....so tired of mistakes ane excuses and time is near to do something about it
 
Definitely leaning toward disapprove based on the on-field product. A win over KSU won't be able to change that considerably, but a loss would make me pretty emphatically disapprove. My dog is almost twice as old as KSU's football program.
 
Yes, but he has to hold coordinators accountable or replace them soon. It's year three and the recruiting is there but the combination of gameplan and/or execution isn't.

The ATL stuff is only BS because we’re losing - and you’re old. The recruits love it. Start winning and you won’t care about the ATL stuff any more.

Start winning and no one would even start a thread like this. Winning isn't everything - it's the ONLY thing. If you only don't get that, it's because you're young and part of Generation Participation Trophy.
