finally broke double digits!
I’m sorry but this is wrong.A year one loss to the Citadel is unacceptable but if you are being charitable you give it a pass. I did. A year three loss to NIU is not defensible. I don't give a öööö about the greatest transformation in college football history. I don't give a öööö how much magic exists with the 404 brand stuff. Getting your öööö pushed in by NIU is unacceptable. Period. This isn't an upset by a middle of the road ACC team. This is App State vs Michigan. Only problem is you perceive yourself to be Michigan. Reality is you are less.
You cannot tell me with a straight face that this coaching staff will win at, to quote the head coach, "an elite level."
College football...
Tier 1: Ryan Day, Nick Saban, Dabo Swinney
Tier 2: Brian Kelly, Kirby Smart, Kyle Whittingham, Lincoln Riley, Jimbo Fisher, Dan Mullen, James Franklin, Pat Fitzgerald
Geoff Collins can't even sniff the jock of these guys. Three years of record breaking LOSSES
It's over
Gooff Collins is a joke. 0-12.
Gooff Collins responded with a loss because he doesn’t care if he wins or not. He is laughing all the way to the bank with his $14 million, seven year contract that doesn’t state anything about wins or losses. Laughing at Stupidsbury too. Gooff knows all he has to do is keep repeating “We’re working really, really hard to get better every single day” over and over, and Todd eats it right up. That is the way of a slick used car salesman.
Enough with the salary talk. Guys, he’s not even paid that much. Everyone likes to put Tech in the company of lots of other “name” schools — go see what they pay their coaching staffs. Head coach, sure, then go look at the organization.
Its not 1998 anymore.
Have we paid our assistants competitive salaries at any time in this century?Enough with the salary talk. Guys, he’s not even paid that much. True, but look at what he is paid compared to his predecessor. About a 35% increase I believe.Enough with the salary talk. Guys, he’s not even paid that much. CoolI wish somebody would not pay me that much...

Irrelevant. CPJ is gone guys. He retired. Loved the guy (check the avatar that remains). But he’s gone.True, but look at what he is paid compared to his predecessor. About a 35% increase I believe.
Not my point. Point is, a big commitment was made when GC came in. Part of that was his salary. It has proven to have a very poor ROI.Irrelevant. CPJ is gone guys. He retired. Loved the guy (check the avatar that remains). But he’s gone.
His salary and Keys salary are competitive. The other assistants were not. It appears we are getting what we paid for in the other assistants. Actually more in at least one case (Coach Choice). Not my point. Point is, a big commitment was made when GC came in. Part of that was his salary. It has proven to have a very poor ROI.
And getting less than we paid for in a head coachHis salary and Keys salary are competitive. The other assistants were not. It appears we are getting what we paid for in the other assistants. Actually more in at least one case (Coach Choice).

Which century? 21st?Have we paid our assistants competitive salaries at any time in this century?
21st. I wonder what we could have accomplished under Johnson if we had allowed him to hire a defensive coordinator at double the market rate since we were not paying for an offensive coordinator?Which century? 21st?
Nick Saban getting his A$$ Kicked Every Year, that's what.......21st. I wonder what we could have accomplished under Johnson if we had allowed him to hire a defensive coordinator at double the market rate since we were not paying for an offensive coordinator?
We have only had two competent AD's in the last sixty years, Rice and Radakovich. The verdict is still out on TStan. The other AD's have done more damage than any of the coaches in that period.
True, but look at what he is paid compared to his predecessor. About a 35% increase I believe.
Collins will earn less than his collective staff will; his contract begins with an even $3 million salary for 2019, a slight decrease from the $3.06 million Johnson earned in his 11th season on the job.
