I hate playing uga. Hate it. You have to beat them by 14 just to win by 1. ööööing rabbit out of their ass every year. BS call on the PI, then they got lucky on the goal line fumble that didn't have an angle. If Haynes King protects the ball we win. If Birr hits the FG we win. If Key used a timeout in OT when our guys were confused from the 1 yd line, we win. Heartbreaking.

As far as questionable reffing in this series goes, this doesn't even make the list. We had so many opportunities to win, both early and late. We just didn't get it done. öööö.

To recap. It took:
1) 17,000 DB injuries
2) A PI on a tipped ball
3) A kicker missing a chipshot
For the crown jewel of the SEC to scrape by. But they're assured a CFP spot. Makes sense.

I don't post much but I'm so ööööing proud of this team. It took a couple of questionable pi calls to extend this game to OT. GT is trending in the right direction boys and the future is bright!!!
100% that was the difference… however, with the 3s and 4s i am impressed we didn’t get blown off.

Lots of ifs there. A whole lot of the series is "ifs" by GT and simply wins by the inbreds. There is a reason that they have won 80/90% of the games in the series the last 30 years.

Yeah, I'd say so. The only potentially obviously wrong call I saw was the alleged tip on the dpi, which I wasn't able to see during the replay (but very well may have been there, they didn't show it enough).
On the other hand I can point to half a dozen plays/decisions I wish we had back. At least.
