Official To HELL with the dwags postgame thread

That was too long. Ain't nobody got time for that.

Long checklist of things between shooting ourself in the foot and bad calls that would have turned this but oh well. Normal Atlanta sports. Before OT this felt like it should have been a 2 or 3 TD win and we let it slip too many times.

Lots of ifs there. A whole lot of the series is "ifs" by GT and simply wins by the inbreds. There is a reason that they have won 80/90% of the games in the series the last 30 years.
What I'm saying is all those ifs had to go against us for them to win today. They are the luckiest ööööing team in the world. I hate them and hope they all celebrate by going out and racing their cars drunk and die in a crash. öööö them.

Yeah, I'd say so. The only potentially obviously wrong call I saw was the alleged tip on the dpi, which I wasn't able to see during the replay (but very well may have been there, they didn't show it enough).

On the other hand I can point to half a dozen plays/decisions I wish we had back. At least.
No potentially obviously wrong call here?

Hopefully, next year we will have some more depth and a dependable place kicker who can make very makeable FG's that can determine the outcome of a big game. I applaud the effort of this team and the coaches for having them ready to play, but man it still hurts like hell!

No way in hell the Dwags are a contender for the NC!!!

THWG!!!!

So when Kirby was using his OT TOs when we were setting up, I have to wonder, why the hell did Key not use the same tactic?

Just curious. Seems like we lost the psychological game.

This.

We had a 10+ win and pissed it away with a shit FG kicker and hat on ball fumble.

Seriously? This one makes the list. It’s making national news for the obvious right job.
How long is said list? We can bitch and moan about refs but... 300 yards in first half has to be worth more than 17 points. We had 5 shots at 3 yards that the inbreds failed to conver... and so di we. This is so ööööing numbing, but the refs are not to blame on the whole.

There were 3 missed facemasks against UGA.

whats your opinion on the targeting non-call? It was pretty textbook spearing into the facemask that caused the fumble which has always been against the rules.

Yes, but I can name 6 to 10 games like this over the last 30 years that all went in their favor in this series. It happens nearly every time against these ööööing clowns. Did anyone that has followed GT for more than 5 minutes expect anything different?

I'd have to see the replay again but I thought his helmet got the ball first.

Also I am a little drunk so I could be wrong overall. I'm mainly just pissed that we could have won but didn't.

That is the most I have ever heard my insanely polite Filipino wife cuss. Congratulations UGa. Go öööö yourself.

Well, I took a sabbatical hoping it would lead to a Tech win.

I can say "typical Tech". Going from 4 DL to 3 DL in the 4th instead of playing out the ööööing game with what got you there. We did the same damn thing against NC State and almost lost. And with the game win in our grasp a few times in OT, we conveniently forget we have running backs playing on offense. Hell, we are a run damn first team acting like we were a passing team. There are no special damn plays to get 1.5 yards to win it after that PI. Hand the damn ball off. You hand the ööööing ball off to a RB and block your ass off.

We have ööööing got to install some short yardage under center plays. FB, RB.

Obviously we should’ve won when we had the chances to do so. But I’m not going to be blind to what’s been happening all over the leagues this year which is officiating protecting playoff contenders.

Should we have won the game outright? Sure but the officiating was absolutely brutally against us and almost all observers of the game saw it.

I’m used to it. Still hate it.

Stop being a cunt

17-0 at the half, up 14 with 5:30 to go in the 4th, had a chance to win it multiple times in OT, but ultimately still found a way to lose. While King played well, he couldn’t finish nor could our defense. This is a game Tech should have won plan and simple. Absolutely no moral victories tonight.

I can’t blame the refs too much for this. There was the lack of holding calls, of course, but they also gave us chances we didn’t capitalize on.
