Official To HELL with the dwags postgame thread

Seems there is plenty of folks running around with some glass half full mentality. Today it is without a doubt empty.
No one with unbiased opinions expected us to win.

We didn’t win.

Shocker.

Believe me, I’m hella-pissed! We should have won, but couldn’t close the deal. This is all to typical of us.

Even if he did that’s not anywhere in the rule, he still used the crown of his helmet with 2 additional indicators: forcible to the head or neck area and lowering his head before initiating contact.
But he probably didn't mean to do it, so we'll let it slide

We lost it fair and square in OT. Clearly, we weren’t prepared for OT. Should’ve played for the win in OT 1. Despite that, our playcalling throughout OT was bad.

That being said, the fumble and PI calls were bs, and the game should have never gone to OT. It gets old having to beat the mutts and the refs

I'm expecting to win. I'm expecting winning to be typical of us. There are 0 barriers preventing GT from winning on a regular basis in this current environment.

Yeah. We were all yelling go for 2 now and live with it. I felt longer it went less chance for us.

I'm kinda waiting to see what the thus far brilliant Cal Bears post about this game

This one definitely hurts and really no excuse for losing. Refs in second half were awful. I’m oversees and watched on my phone and could still see the holding. Talent ultimately wins out, we had little margin for error.

That said, we were very well prepared and put 600+ yards on a defense that was much bigger and more athletic than us. Our defense played their asses off and we competed hard to the very end. The team should not hang their heads. It’s more off-season ammunition….we must get bigger and stronger.

We really need a big, bruising running back, a tall receiver that can stretch the field, and to get better in the secondary. I hope Haynes comes back for one more year as well…really wanted this win for him and CBK.

I’m proud to be a Jacket today. My dawg SIL texted me “Brent Key is the man”.

Not sure what to even say. I'm numb. I'm a young fan, just in my 20s. This is easily the most heartbroken I've felt after a Tech game. Just gut-wrenching to get that effort from our guys, a Herculean performance from King...and still can't pull it out.

We are so far removed from the 52-7 and 45-0 Collins era drubbings. My favorite thing about Brent Key so far after 2 full years is that his teams come to play against these guys, and they absolutely do not back down at all. Such a gritty effort, and I am so proud to call them my team.

On the other hand...there are no moral victories, and this loss makes me never want to watch football again.

Hang in there, this program moving in the right direction.

Thought we were gonna be 5-7 going into the season.

We broke FSU, beat #4, and had zero losses that would be called embarrassing. That's a first in close to 10 years.

Should have won today. We lost the mental battle in the 2nd half and didn't just nut up when we needed to. It's an awful result but I've got nothing but pride in these men. They're moving in the right direction and everything is looking up. Feel the pain, wake up tomorrow, move onto the next one.
Will do, but don’t people ever get tired of justifying losses

Kirby and Dabo are the worst of all NCAA coaches on the sidelines. Wandering on the field and acting like the spoiled brats they are. That side line warning last might was well over due, should have had yardage tagged on as well. Nothing like a little bitch Coach, and UGA and Clempson both have one.

The ultimate loss. Haynes King will leave and that will be his legacy. It'll be harder to win with another QB. It will be the defining loss of Key's hopefully short tenure. Key should step down
Huh?

The only silver lining of that game is your heart made it and you will live on
