Oh Look, FromTheRumbleSeat is dumping on GT again

öööö Jared Ivey. He abandoned his team. He'd better hope the NFL comes calling because an Ole Miss degree ain't worth the paper it is printed on.
Worth more than a mutt degree tho 10x actually

He is so uninformed about everything it's not even funny. And to think he is looked to for interview about the game. :eekfacepalm: Ivey is not even a starter for them. I watched their game against Central Arkansas and he was not getting off blocks at all. He had 1 tackle and his 0.5 sack came when the OT whiffed on a block. Dart did not look great against Troy and only had 150 passing yards. Ole Miss has had over 200 rushing yards in each game and a lot of that came after first contact/breaking tackles. They've played Troy and Central Arkansas and didn't really pick either one apart passing the ball. If we can tackle well and get pressure on Dart, I think our defense will be ok as long as we don't regress to the blown coverages on the backend that we saw last year.

EDIT: BTW Ivey was really torn on transferring but money and a car is a great motivator. His mom/family wanted him to stay at GT.

I hereby put you in charge of storming the bastion of From The Rumble Seat, driven their staff before us and making sure we hear the lamentations of their women. Pretty sure JJ and Rules will help

I think they lost some writers cause it's gone downhill

Yeah, he had a bunch of family at the games; that is why I was surprised about the transfer.

Griffin also; I doubt they are making trips to Oregon. Especially since he is getting few carries.

I have a similar impression on Ole Miss. They are ranked based on last season results, SEC, transfer portal hype, etc. Their NEW QBs haven't had to do anything yet. Basically they have been able to run their way to easy wins against two over-matched opponents. Getting them early in the season, at home for us, is likely a best case. Not saying we win... because we still have a lot to prove as well. But I don't necessarily see Ole Miss rolling up in here and being some juggernaut team that will throttle us. We can absolutely beat them.

His mom, unfortunately, got involved in some pissing matches with Tech fans on Twitter. I think that was at least a part of him leaving

Here is what he said about GT. I guess I can't hate on him too much.

. "It's a very fun environment to play in," Ivey said. "I enjoyed being [at Georgia Tech], I loved it and loved my guys there. They have some diehard fans who were really riding for us, and they have one of the coolest entrances in college football."

Well he won't have that problem at Ole Miss since he can't seem to crack the two-deep.
