That was a good day.
That was Laskey's first 100+ yard game, correct?
Are you talking about Zach Laskey? I remember Zach Laskey, big fella goes about 6'8", 385.

and also our last shutout of a FBS team, IIRC.Ha! FSU fan I know called that the watch Dwyer run 50 yards play.
But yeah, that Cuse game was a whoppin'. They literally looked as if they had never seen an option play before.

Reminds me of one of the Miami boards after they lost to us. They had still shots of the defenders blocking each other. One of them was on his head with no one around him on one play. Hilarious stuff.
IMO, we should always have some flexbone plays in our repertoire. It would make a hell of a change up to throw teams off balance. Even if you did it with a wildcat QB packageA Miami fans butthurt analysis of 'Da U's' defense on the 4th and 2 where GT went up 28-17, putting the game away.
The mesh was perfect on this play, the entire D thought Thomas handed the ball off, instead JT5 made the correct read for an easy TD.
Any way we get him back? I swear I heard him on a pregame ACC broadcast. Is he still even at USuCk?D Mo was such a treasure for GT. Another middle finger for Goof Collins.
Was he the one that did the pregame hype video before the Clemson game this year? I thought I noticed his voice, but I may be wrong.D Mo was such a treasure for GT. Another middle finger for Goof Collins.

Time to come home.

I never bought the safety bs for the rules changes. That was just a pretext for “simplifying” the rules to make it easier for the coaches that hated facing the 3O. It is what it is though. The masses prefer OL that block like statues and QBs that stand in the pocket like statues. And god help a defender that hits a QB running with the ball right as he begins to start a slide. Too often that gets a flag which is just more pansification of football."Blocking below the waist
The panel approved a proposal to improve safety and simplify the rules governing blocking below the waist. The proposal will allow blocking below the waist only by linemen and stationary backs inside the tackle box. Outside the tackle box on scrimmage plays, blocking below the waist will be prohibited."

I mean we hadn't beaten Miami since 2008, and the win got us to 5-0, so I'd say it was justified hahaThis was a fun game to be at. My first and only time storming the field. Can’t say the win deserved a storming, but I was right next to the student section and it was always a dream to do it.
I didn’t hesitate to join in lol
