Ooooh just got a letter From Tstan

Holy öööö this letter infuriated me. The constant obsession with the previous coach and denigrating what he did here is so juvenile.
Ditto. And you mean the typical politician response? Blame the last administration. So we were closer to winning but how many records were set against us by opposing teams? Seemed to leave that part out.

i couldnt read the whole thing.. where did he blame the previous coach?

So really now the question is, does coach waffle house get his talking points from TStan, or is TStan repeating what the coach says in his post game pressers? And he says "Build our program the right way?" Does that mean beating uga and winning the Orange Bowl was the wrong way?

I read it as this:

Dear Tech Fans:
Next year is going to suck. Thus, games are now for men only. Leave the women and children at home and bring your drums, flares, and bottle rockets and let’s make Grant Field look like an Eastern European soccer riot.

Paragraph 5 we are in the midst of a monumental transition to “build our program the right way.” What does that say about the previous coaching staff?

i guess i read that as alluding to the way some other schools "build" their program and not necessarily the previous administration but you may be right

Also, let's not all start sucking Pastner's wiener yet. One ACC Championship in COVID year doesn't amount to the next coming of Coach Wooden (or Cremins for that matter).

He also brings up volleyball and he could bring up women’s basketball as well. The only reason those are doing well is due to the international appeal of Georgia Tech academics. Building the programs the right way in those sports has meant importing National teamers from other countries. Not sure we can do that with football, Todd.
