Typical coach speak
Reminds me of people of a certain political persuasion.Good God, Collins may need to go, but can we ever let go of CPJ.

We did get some GT love on the Jags/Falcons game. They talked about Gotsis and Tech / Australia...so maybe we need to just look outside our borders? He also brings up volleyball and he could bring up women’s basketball as well. The only reason those are doing well is due to the international appeal of Georgia Tech academics. Building the programs the right way in those sports has meant importing National teamers from other countries. Not sure we can do that with football, Todd.
Impossible PJ never put players in the NFL.We did get some GT love on the Jags/Falcons game. They talked about Gotsis and Tech / Australia...so maybe we need to just look outside our borders?
I couldn't wait on any kind of proposed form letter for all of us to send, so I went ahead and sent one of my own, although I doubt he ever sees it. I think at least some of you on this site know I am very outspoken and blunt, and I was no less so in my response to him.
Sorry, but that is typical coach speak and total BS. The fact is that Collins doesn't have a clue about coaching a game or apparently preparing the team for a game, and he doesn't give a damn about the fans. If he did, he would speak directly to the fans on a regular basis and not ignore (with a smirk on his face) questions posed to him about the fans at his totally boring and full-of-crap press conferences. I am glad that Patnaude was fired, but the first one to go should have been Collins himself, and, what with the losing of players like Gibbs, that could and should still happen. The highly ranked recruiting class you mentioned is not likely to be so highly ranked if any of those recruits decide not to sign with Tech after all. I hate to say it, but Collins has destroyed Georgia Tech football, and it may never recover.

Why not? That's what I and many other Tech fans feel, and he needs to know it.I can’t imagine emailing another man with so much emotion.
I know right? He never developed or encouraged development of players beyond their star ratings...what a novel concept...Impossible PJ never put players in the NFL.
Todd sure has a way with wordsI got a different letter. Mine says:
They will just be coach emeritus and on payroll forever and unfireable unless they die or get clonedThe next HC is gonna need a 14 year contract to transition from this disaster
All this just to sneak in that his press con comments hurt your feelings surrounded by pure histrionics and what-ifs.I couldn't wait on any kind of proposed form letter for all of us to send, so I went ahead and sent one of my own, although I doubt he ever sees it.
