Ooooh just got a letter From Tstan

So really now the question is, does coach waffle house get his talking points from TStan, or is TStan repeating what the coach says in his post game pressers? And he says "Build our program the right way?" Does that mean beating uga and winning the Orange Bowl was the wrong way?
Hugs and kickball.

Fine, I'll be the one to share it.

Thanks Todd. Too bad you can’t fire the bitch you made your bed with.

I couldn't wait on any kind of proposed form letter for all of us to send, so I went ahead and sent one of my own, although I doubt he ever sees it. I think at least some of you on this site know I am very outspoken and blunt, and I was no less so in my response to him.

Sorry, but that is typical coach speak and total BS. The fact is that Collins doesn't have a clue about coaching a game or apparently preparing the team for a game, and he doesn't give a damn about the fans. If he did, he would speak directly to the fans on a regular basis and not ignore (with a smirk on his face) questions posed to him about the fans at his totally boring and full-of-crap press conferences. I am glad that Patnaude was fired, but the first one to go should have been Collins himself, and, what with the losing of players like Gibbs, that could and should still happen. The highly ranked recruiting class you mentioned is not likely to be so highly ranked if any of those recruits decide not to sign with Tech after all. I hate to say it, but Collins has destroyed Georgia Tech football, and it may never recover.

Should have thrown in a joke about his mother.

Stansbury falling for Collins' shtick is on par with all those big shots who got bamboozled by Theranos. Collins knew exactly what to say in that job interview to drop Todd's panties
Something like that but let's not forget that CPJ and the 3O was sooo bad that we had to sign a nitwit to a 7 year deal to 'orchestrate' the greatest transition in the history of college football instead of the next best man up.

Our next coach will also have a 7 year deal. Precedent set. Why would next guy agree to anything else? Thanks TStan. Dumböööö.

This dumb öööö apparently does not even understand the concept of "margin for error." He touts our margin for error shrinking as being a good thing. Hello?

Of all the embarrassments right now . . . that Georgia Tech should have such a stupid, inarticulate, person as its Athletic Director is far and away the greatest.

Stansbury is a product of the Curry regime. The teams he was on won 10 games in 3 years, his Fr year GT’s team won 1 game. I’m assuming he was not on the roster and was on the JV (Freshman) team. Somebody on here must remember if that was a Frosh or a JV team. Anyway that’s 11 wins in 4 years, basically the same rate as his love child is currently achieving. He’s used to grabbing his ankles, probably brings back fond memories. He thinks that’s the way it’s supposed to be on the Flats. He’s comfortable with football getting its ass kicked & it probably does not bother him like it does us.

I’m done mulling this over, Stansbury is the head of the rotting fish. The other 3 stooges left, Moe Key, Larry Thacker and Curly Collins are just the remnants of the rancid body.

Lol @ curly Collins

I was there at that time. We had back-to-back one win seasons. I had a friend on the team, but I can't remember if it was a Frosh or JV team. I think it was Frosh.

Anyway, Stansbury was there when I was there. A linebacker. An IM major.

We had another linebacker who played for Curry when I was there. Sheldon Fox. Perfect 4.0 in EE, which was unbelievable for anyone in that era, never mind someone also playing NCAA football. I was also EE, but I only barely knew him from the occasional party. Brilliant. Very successful businessman at Harris, where I also worked for a couple of years in the mid-80s. I believe he's retired. He's on the Board of the Georgia Tech Foundation.

So Stansbury was not the brightest linebacker to play for Curry. But I can't go so far as to think that where we are now doesn't bother him. I imagine it tears him up.

@1982Jacket Yeah I only met him casually but Sheldon seemed very smart. I’m pretty sure he is retired from Harris for a couple years now. Man time flies.

Maybe I’m harsh on Stansbury but I wouldn’t have been hugging the dude I was turning the screws on. Also that last letter was a complete stinker. C’mon give us some hope you’re doing something. It smells like he didn’t have his next moved locked down again & got caught with his pants down like when he had to hire Curly Collins after all his primary and secondary targets gave him the finger.

If you want Tstan to take you seriously you need to put together a coherent and rational case. This response is just whiny and unhinged.

To those of you bitching about the letter, what else were you expecting him to say? Seemed about what I expected.

Of all the people who have seen my response (not counting those on this thread, about 50), you are only the 3rd one not to like it. I spoke my mind, and that's what everybody needs to do, whether you think it's whiny or not.

I expected him to understand the concept of margin for error if he was going to try to use it in an argument. Is that too much to ask?

At least everyone is clear that Collins has 6ish games left before we move on. Anything less than 2-2 in September and TStan needs to start making calls.
