You do realize Max Johnson is the backup QB for TAMU, right? That TAMU OL with all that NIL $$$ is bad. Was the last 2 years as well.

King was a great addition for GT no matter if he was going to be TAMU’s starting QB or not.

That's the thing about great recruiting and the portal. You still have to make the right decisions with what you have. When someone doesn't play they don't develop so if you pick the wrong one your backup is going elsewhere and will make you look bad. Pyron might do itto us. You have to pick one or the other. He will have a tall order to go elsewhere and do better.

Washington, Oregon are the 2 best teams in the P12 and can both play with anyone in the country. Both offenses are elite and the D’s are solid. Yards given up today is due to how good the opposite O’s are.

USC despite having the statistical #1 O in the country has a D as bad if not worse than LSU. Just won’t last (maybe even tonight against ND).

Sad thing is, the SEC overall is garbage.

Yet Oregon / Washington may eliminate one another in the P12 Championship rematch. Oregon has no room for error with a tough schedule remaining, and UW still has a tough scheduling remaining. Wouldn’t surprise me to see UW lose one coming down the stretch.

I don’t disagree. TAMU hitched themselves to Jimbo and that massive contract. And despite all the NIL $$$ recruiting success, that program is never going to be upper level SECW. Especially starting next year when Daddy (UT) and Uncle (OU) join the SEC and relegate TAMU down to fighting with Arky.

Agreed to all that except the part about SEC garbage being a sad thing.
