There is a growing number of Tech fans skipping games. BDS is getting as empty as your cranium. As your beloved coach continues to fail your program is becoming increasingly irrelevant. But money down and juice. If you don’t go to the games nobody cares about your opinions.
Again, that’s the gist of it. Sure ur gonna have guys making mistakes, but more often than not in a TO offense, the defense is going to make more mistakes because the option causes so many people to react at once. The spread doesn’t allow guys through the line just to target them other than the occasional trap plays which we don’t run at all, but it would be great for our running game because of how bad our line is.So how do pro offenses ever score? Every game should end 0-0.
I’ve seen maybe 50 7a HS games the last 5 years and all but 2 , maybe 3 have run this offense. The RPO is the MOST high school of high school offenses.
maybe we should collectively wake up and realize that good coaching is 100x more important than the scheme.
I’ll be honest, you could go to almost every high school in the metro Atlanta area and I would say close to 75-80% run an RPO scheme. Rough estimates, but that’s about what I would say is run. Now if you go to 1A, I bet most of them run TO because of how bad the talent level is.I’ve seen maybe 50 7a HS games the last 5 years and all but 2 , maybe 3 have run this offense.
That’s the more troubling part to me so far. It makes you wonder about recruiting as well. Sure these guys might be ranked fairly high but it could be this staff outside of a few areas, struggles with evaluating talent. Our staff has definitely proven that we aren’t The Georgia Institute of Technology and Rehabilitation Center for 4 and 5* Players Who Weren’t Good at Their Prior School. In fact, all I’ve seen is that there was a good reason these guys weren’t playing wherever they came from.
