This thread aged well. Let’s go ahead and lock this bad boy.
Nice font workIt'd be awesome if we beat BC and became a WINNING team at 4-3 with a 3-1 ACC record and 2 game winning streak. It'd be a desperately needed step in the right direction and could change perceptions about our program. We have a prime opportunity to do it with the bye week. Therefore we will probably lose.
We could have been 5-1 without a blindside fumble that cost us a game winning field goal as the clock ran down. The bye week comes at a great time. Key can do two important things - instill confidence based on how we have competed against Louisville, Ole Miss, Wake and Miami while being clear that you have to be ready to play every week or else you throw away opportunities by playing as poorly as we did against Bowling Green. We would be sitting at a nice place at 4-2 with losses to two top fifteen teams. But, you have to prepare and play with great effort every week.
I’ll say it. We *should* be 5-1 right now. We gave the Louisville and BG games away. I think that GT is an upper-mid level ACC team right now that has to learn how to win consistently. We haven’t done that since 2018. This is year 5 of that trend and it must be broken. We could have been 5-1 without a blindside fumble that cost us a game winning field goal as the clock ran down.
We probably should be 2-4 since BG blew us out of the water and we get incredibly lucky to beat Miami. But I like the glass half full approach too.I’ll say it. We *should* be 5-1 right now. If you think we gave the BG game away, we apparently watched different games. We got manhandled.I’ll say it. We *should* be 5-1 right now. We gave the Louisville and BG games away. huh? we were up big against Louisville late in the 3rd quarterYou're out of your mind. We didn't give away BG and Louisville. We were beaten soundly. We're lucky not to be 2-4.

BG we gave away during the week when we didnt give a flying öööö about them.. truth be told i still dont doesnt affect conference standings
we had more total yards and were leading at the start of the 4th quarter - i would still characterize that as "giving away"We had one good quarter. Louisville dominated that second half.
People see what they want to see. We clearly, to me at least, gave away the Louisville game. I mean, when you're up 28-13 at the half and 28-23 at the end of the 3rd quarter, then lose 39-34, it's a pretty classic "gave the game away" scenario.huh? we were up big against Louisville late in the 3rd quarter
