The Louisville game becomes a philosophical debate because of how it played out. We led 28-13 at half, but trailed 0-6 at end of the 1st. The points we scored in that second quarter were the only ones we scored in the game outside of 2 minutes left in it. So did we have it in the first place to give away or did we get on a hot/lucky streak that wasn't sustainable? Not taking sides on this one, just the reason the debate is there.People see what they want to see. We clearly, to me at least, gave away the Louisville game. I mean, when you're up 28-13 at the half and 28-23 at the end of the 3rd quarter, then lose 39-34, it's a pretty classic "gave the game away" scenario.
IMPO, we gave away the BGSU game because we didn't prepare for it. That was as sure a win is there is in college football - before the game.
