Path To A Bowl ..

People see what they want to see. We clearly, to me at least, gave away the Louisville game. I mean, when you're up 28-13 at the half and 28-23 at the end of the 3rd quarter, then lose 39-34, it's a pretty classic "gave the game away" scenario.

IMPO, we gave away the BGSU game because we didn't prepare for it. That was as sure a win is there is in college football - before the game.
The Louisville game becomes a philosophical debate because of how it played out. We led 28-13 at half, but trailed 0-6 at end of the 1st. The points we scored in that second quarter were the only ones we scored in the game outside of 2 minutes left in it. So did we have it in the first place to give away or did we get on a hot/lucky streak that wasn't sustainable? Not taking sides on this one, just the reason the debate is there.

It's all in how you see it. Everyone's opinion is pretty much valid on these things because it's so perspective driven.

Even though we should be favored against BC and UVa, leaving us to find a win among Cuse (more likely now than two weeks ago), UNC, Clemson and Georgia. let's not get ahead of ourselves. We've done it before and stubbed our toe so bad it broke our foot
One game at a time. We gotta get these Open guys this week. They've never lost.

We don't fumble the ball on a blind side hit, we win the game - plain and simple. We were driving and running the clock out. All we had to do was kick a game winning field goal. But after fumble, we gave up a freak 75 yd, one play touchdown that skewed the numbers to look like something that wasn't.

Let's rename thread to path to ACCC -
Louisville loses to Duke and Miami
Duke loses to FSU and UNC

We just have to win out against BC, UVA, Clem, Cuse, and UNC and we get FSU in ACCC

We could probably even lose to Clemson and mathematically still have a chance

Hey its better than 0.01% chance im pretty sure
Louisville needs to lose 2. We don’t have divisions this year.
Edit: sorry you said that already.

You're out of your mind. We didn't give away BG and Louisville. We were beaten soundly. We're lucky not to be 2-4.

No fumble at the end of the game and we likely kick a FG to win the Louisville game.

We’re gonna lose to BC, then beat UNC then lose to Virginia. Then beat Clemson, lose to Syracuse and beat uga.

I was thinking about this Sunday morning. I want to win out, I want to win every game, but there is a part of me that would accept this scenario for the end of this season. Then in 2024 we run the table of course.

Beating uga and going to a bowl would be a good step forward towards our next National Championship. Closing the regular season with seven straight wins would be even better.

Come on, man. Puff, puff, GIVE.

All we needed to go bowling last year was a win at home against a Virginia team that lost all 6 of their other conference games. We managed 9 points and got beat in total yards 411-202. Maybe we already got our WTF game out of the way this season, but I won't be too optimistic until the clock expires on the 6th win.

WOW after last night we only need to win 2 our of the next three (UVA, Clemson, Cuse) to become Bowl eligible!
