Pitt -7, how does GT matchup?

Thank goodness we don't have any tendencies to give the other team a short field. :-)

That's why I said if we can limit our turnovers, I like our chances making them have to drive the field. And on their DL talent, I agree that could pose a problem for us, but as weird as this sounds, we will likely have the 2nd biggest OL they have faced this year, possibly the largest. Not that size=talent but it never hurts to have large men in the trenches. Pitt has faced some pretty bad OL this year too which helps those numbers.

EDIT: By the way, the line actually opened up at Pitt -8 and has moved to Pitt -6.5 (-6 in some). Money apparently going towards GT and the points.

Good lord. I did not know this. Please discard any hope you might have felt after reading my psychotically optimistic prediction.
Pitt is #1 in TFL with 93 (for negative 381 yards). Clemson is a distant #2 with 73 (for negative 275 yards). Pitt gives up 78 rushing yards/game - slightly less than the dwags.

Have a hard time caring about a low-stakes RSN game that I probably won't even be able to watch on Sling. (I cancelled Sling after the fake punt from the 30 yard line but my subscription runs through mid-November.) I'll watch the replay on YouTube if we win, I guess.
So you have a hard time caring about a Georgia Tech football game? Can’t say I’m surprised.

I always hope, but I don't think we can beat Pitt. Our lines will have to play better than we have shown.

if we are positive in TOs and very few penalties, I think we win. Not ground breaking I know, we have enough talent to beat these guys as long as we don't beat ourselves.

The base and team could really use a solid win right now.

If we lose this one the fan base might turn on CGC tbh
If anyone is assuming we'll win another game this year, they deserve however butthurt they feel. We suck. Hopefully next year we will not suck. Maybe we will suck less by the end of the year. On the other hand, we could fall apart and start to blow. But everyone who has watched this season should have a firm grasp of how bad we are. The only valid excuse for ignorance on this matter is if you've been blackout drunk since the Central Florida game, in which case you are my hero. Never be sober again.

The thing is that Pitt is the apparent best at the thing we are the undeniable worst at. We might have more botched snaps than first downs if both teams play as they have been. I was hopeful a few hours ago ( Thanks @00Burdell ) but that was purely willful ignorance. If we somehow see improvement this week to the war crime that is our blocking, I'll be ecstatic.

Pitt is rightfully favored. Would it shock me if Tech won? No. Just pleasantly surprised.

In fact, I believe Tech will be underdogs for every remaining game except one.

The real interesting one is going to be Duke and that POS Cutcliffe. If Tech doesn't win that one . . . there will be much butthurt.

It’s funny that you think the Burt hurt around here is tied to wins and losses. Win or lose, there will be butthurt.

I would like to keep the line (+8) but I wanted the +4 vs BC and that didn't turn out well.
ND was +20 and we lost under the line but really they could have named the score.Ended game on our 2 yd line I believe.

We’re probably 4-4 vs Pitts schedule; and they’d be what, 3-4 vs ours? The only real difference is that we laid an inexplicable egg against Cuse this year

There were many moments where our defense looked like they were about to shut down ND. We are getting better. Here’s hoping we come off the bye rocking and rolling.

It’s those darn trenches. They are just not in our favor.

They will be in 3 years. But they are not now.

OK, I see APSU, Louisville and FSU. Where is Tech's fourth win in Pitt's schedule?
