What’s being ignored is as talented Clemson is and has recruited extremely well, they are breaking in 9 starters on defense. There will be some missed assignment and blown coverages.

Likely, yes. But we have to capitalize on every mistake they make to keep this "close". (Meaning within a TD per quarter)
 
Collins calls 5 plays a game, so thats 35 points right there. I don't see Clemson getting 70 points to beat the spread. Plus add in some points Patenaude will
dial up and the D will score some, so there is no way Clem covers.
 
All we gotta do is TDET and we win, which gives me TE
