I may be wrong but I think if the call on the field is "he was out at the 35", you can't overturn that on replay and give him a gain to the 40 even if he wasn't really out, because the play was dead as soon as he was ruled out.

Of course, if that was their rationale then there never should have been a review in the first place, so either way they're dumb. He was obviously in though.

Both teams were 3-9. BC couldn't score in a whorehouse last year.

I voted .4 for GT to win. Need to see this o-line/group of backs/WR's block someone before we beat a team with a pulse (and a pretty good D).

That may be true for all intents and purposes, but at the end of the day voters know that some average will be taken, so they often play games to make their vote affect the average. If the current average is 0.91 but you think the average should be 0.95 you might vote 1.0 to bring the average closer to your actual guess.

It really doesn't matter considering that the poll results are always overconfident. Its all BS.

The worst team we lost to last year was UVa (in Charlottesville) which finished 4-8 (3-5). BC was 3-9 (0-8) and only had wins against Maine, Howard, and N. Ill. If Tech played BC last year, I'd say we would have had a better than 60-40 chance of winning. This year, Tech should be better. BC on the other hand, lost their DC, who was one of the few positives for their program. Tech usually does well offensively against teams and coaches without recent experience against the TO. It's a neutral site, so no advantage to BC there. I don't think 70-80% chance of winning is kool-aid.

I think the over/under implied by your prediction is fairly accurate.

BC's coach has been running the TO in practice since the spring - not only has he coached the TO, he's not using scout teamers to simulate our offense, he's using starters.
 
If Tech loses, at least the fans who go will still get to spend Saturday night in Dublin.

This may be the only ACC team we play that has less talent than us. I'll go with 0.6 .

I don't expect to see any triple option. I seriously doubt that this crew will have the timing down to run it this early. Lots of faux TO a/k/a double option plus straight handoffs and jet sweeps.

BC has a great Defense... This game will go along way for our season if we win!! Our Defense will need to make some stops and get some TO!!

In the first game of the season, playing overseas, with new starters all over the OL? Doesn't sound too unreasonable. Talent is only part of the equation.
