In another of ccg's had to do it, showcase, somewhat national stage games - they beat the crap out of us fair & square.
Not quite. Here's an example of some of what we had to put up with that game:
Lol at this pole...3-9 ppl! Quit drinking the kool-aid![]()
In this world of probability there is no 1.0 and no 0.0. We should know that better than anyone!
It really doesn't matter considering that the poll results are always overconfident. Its all BS.

We celebrate by signing this "dude" to the DL!
Start at 7AM? I thought that this is Stingtalk. The proper procedure is to not stop drinking Friday night.
Besides, it's the first game of the season and we're all unprepared. It's time to cram - think of your GT training; pull an all-nighter "studying", take the "test". After it's over you can walk back to your "dorm" and climb into your rack. Boom: you're in mid-season form after week 1.
BC coaches will embarrass Paul and RUTS...9-6 BC
If Tech loses, at least the fans who go will still get to spend Saturday night in Dublin.

I think the over/under implied by your prediction is fairly accurate.
BC's coach has been running the TO in practice since the spring - not only has he coached the TO, he's not using scout teamers to simulate our offense, he's using starters.
This may be the only ACC team we play that has less talent than us. I'll go with 0.6 .
I don't expect to see any triple option. I seriously doubt that this crew will have the timing down to run it this early. Lots of faux TO a/k/a double option plus straight handoffs and jet sweeps.
Here's another bad one from 2007 game FWIW
So in your twisted way of thinking we are only slightly better than a coin flip against a team with lesser talent?
