I don't remember anyone saying that. For this game, the Defense wasn't the only problem. Offense sucked against an inferior opponent. Not sure how anyone can disagree with that.

Yes, the O had its problems, but it moved the ball into range for 31 points (but we chose not to take 4 of them). Even though greatly challenged at times, the O managed to score enough to win against that opponent.
Yes, the O has issues to correct, and contributed to the loss, but the total D meltdown cost us the game. IMPO.

Obviously they didn't score enough plus they gave away a pic 6... but yes the defense was the bigger problem

And the D won us the WF game when the O couldn't move the ball in the 2nd half as usual.

Probably the only reason we have a decent "passing yards allowed" ranking is there's little need to pass given our run defense.

When a team is willing to go for it on a 4th and 7 or 4th and 8 on a routine basis (in the middle of the game, while winning), that should tell you how much they fear our Defense. Zero. Zilch. Nada.

then again theres only been a handful of 4th downs all season
