We kicked their ass

but our defense still struggles against 3rd down short passes.

Run defense was pretty good. How about that 4th down stop! #90 was not having it

We have equaled our win total from last year already
 
This was a good performance on offense, defense and special teams. We won 38-7 and it could have been more.
 
Loving the improvement that I see. Week in and week out we bet better at not missing assignments, executing blocks, etc. JT5 has a killer arm and I no longer cringe every time it leaves his hands. 1st team O is excellent, 2nd team scares the shit out of me. Defense plays bend don't break and I'm nervous about teams like Clemson, Miami, etc. We are 3-0 and that's the best we can be right now. Onto Thursday! Go Jackets!
 
Very good overall improvement.
Need to watch some of the bigger penalties.
#4_(just had brain fart) Great interception & great job stopping punt on 2 yard lne.
GOTTA protect JT 5 in next 2 games.
D improving but gotta be ready on first drive of game & 2nd half.
Solid win.

CPJ would have you think we have yet to block a LB this year.
 
Much improved, but still more room for improvement to compete at the top of the ACC. We haven't played a quality opponent yet. We'll know more on Thursday, but even if that goes bad, we still have a shot in the coastal.
 
Not going to get overly excited about beating Vandy but this was our most complete game of the year by far. First half was shaky but the team came out in the second half to seal the deal. Searcy, Lynch and Mills all get the game ball IMO. OL run blocking is still bad. Really bad. Don't know how that can be when we run 95% of the time.

Defense showed up and did their job, especially in the second half. Lotta bending in the first half and swarming in the second half. Tre' Jackson certainly looked the part when he got to see the field.

Hoping we can keep it up against Clemson.
 
Definitely better in the second half. Or was that Vandy's classic second half fade? Nice win! Go Jackets!

JT was waiting to the last minute for the pitch and it was wide open. Beautiful.
 
Seemed to me that 2nd team defensive line played better than 1st team. Simmons, Henderson and Adams on run downs made a case to play more.
