Post SC State Game Discussion 9.9.2023

My biggest concern is our run defense and inability to generate TFLs and get opposing offenses ins disadvantageous down and distance. You aren’t going to force many punts against good teams if the other team is always in 2nd and 5/6 and 3rd and 2.

big $$$ have always been in it.....NIL and transfer portal seem to be leveling the playing field.....it has been decades since the SEC looked this bad. They can sign the talent, but they can't keep them anymore.

Hopefully, this is true. We'll know in 3-5 years. However, the SEC has a track record of getting rules changed to their advantage. I'll wait and see.

For the fans, absolutely. I don't think the gap is close enough that the coaches are going to think that way, though.

This is literally the guy that big cries or poos every prediction that we might lose in the prediction thread no matter how reasonable it is to predict (even when we had Geoff and were playing a top ten team) because, in his mind, that was being a bad fan. Now he's big crying posts that predict us being borderline bowl eligible because he's predicting worse and is wagering against us accomplishing it.
 
The endzones should be either natural green, or (both much better) white with gold lettering outlined in blue or black, or gold with white lettering outlined in blue or black. Either white or gold would look far better and be more in keeping with Tech tradition than blue.

The gold looks washed out against green or white. Navy background with white and gold lettering pops.

The in-house announcer was awful. He kept calling Kennard, Avery Boyd. Same number but one is a starter on defense and the other is not.
