Poster on Hive says it's RN

Did you notice the quote from Bilick? "He will be free to attend to his duties at Georgia Tech effective immediately." That sounds like a done deal to me. He names the school and uses the word 'will', not 'would'.

Yeah, I noticed that too and had a similar thought. However, in another quote in that article has Billick saying, "I hope those making this decision don't let our rash of injuries and lack of production this year affect their opinions," which to me says that (at least as far as Billick knows) no decision has been made.

In fact, I read the "He will be free to attend..." part of the quote as Billick saying publicly, "he'd be available right away if you hired him, so don't let his current job dissuade you from hiring him."

I don't think Radakovich wouldn't hire Neuheisel if he thought Rick was the right guy just because he'd have to wait a month to have him, but it's nice to know that wouldn't be an issue. Of course I'm not sold on Rick as the right guy, but it's not my decision.

Interesting...

Seriously, how long was Richt OC and how long was Muschamp DC?

And I still have yet to hear why a guy who's D gives up 40+ every year to UGA is good. Maybe once, but three times in a row?

Last year, Brandon Cox had

the same type of game against UGA that Reggie did. At least two pick six interceptions.

Since 2006 when Muschamp became DC at Auburn, Muschamp's defense has allowed more yards per play (6.8 yds) than any opponent that UGA has faced over that period.

That's worse than Western Kentucky, UAB, Troy, Vanderbilt, etc....

Tenuta's defense has allowed 5.1 yards per play over the same period. GT has also turned the ball over more each year than Auburn has.
