Postgame Thread

It seemed pretty hopeless in the end. I always feel like Tech loses theses kinds of games. Glad we held on, but punt coverage it atrocious. Need to clean that up.
He outkicked the coverage on that punt unfortunately. And the following punt we got a retarded stroke of dumb luck where he bounced off his own goddamn blocker in a crowd of 3 defenders.
Not defending the kid but those were the circumstances.

I suspect they will practice punts extensively over the bye and personnel may change. You have to stay in your lanes and contain.

Listening to Joe Hamilton on the postgame radio show. He is saying what we have been saying about clock management. Said that we shouldn't have had to gut out an 80 yard TD drive to go into OT if Sims had waited to snap under five seconds on the last two possessions.

He did say that simplifying the offensive playbook has been huge and unshackling the defense has been the difference so far.

Hopefully Coach Key will address that during the bye week.

GO JACKETS!!

Well, it is if you're playing Michigan or Ohio State.

Source: personal experience as a fan of a Big Ten school

But at least the refs don't bend over for random ööööing teams like Minnesota
Well I’ve never seen such an egregious penalty in 30 years of watching CFB in any conference tbh

This is one of the reasons that I dislike the ACC. The Carolina boys always get the nod from the referees. How many times has Georgia Tech gotten screwed playing Duke and North Carolina by referees? TNTC
From a higher level POV the ACC has been playing favorites for years now and will prolly ruin them. It's often NC schools but is also Miami or VT if they are the favorite name of the year.
