just walk outside
Look like they’re building a streaming service so it should be a temporary issue (and why they’re not on streaming providers).
I have properties in other states so it’s good to know what’s going on there.
Ya. Download the app on your phone.
It was nice of you to share these cultural learnings of America for make benefit glorious nation of Philippines.
Called today. They told me no contract, and no update. I told them I was gonna have to leave.
My conversations with Comcast have been about the same. The rep on the other end is just an employee who may or may not make a note of the inquiry. Very frustrating! Youtube is looking better and better.
Called them again today. The rep said he did not expect them to have it by Thurs.
He asked what team I followed, and I told him. He said - oh man, you have 2 games on the ACCN. I understand where you're headed.
Went to YTTV this weekend with the exception of the History Channel I get all the channels I want without all of the ones I don't want on Dish for about 1/3 the price. Attached ROKU on my TV and never even use my computer to watch anything.
Welcome to streaming.
I'm pretty sure you'll learn to live without Pawn Stars, American Pickers, and Ancient Aliens played on a 24 hour loop in no time.
Yep, also made the jump this weekend. So far it's great. I won't miss the History Channel, but I will miss Drunk History and Tosh.0 (Comedy Central). Still, for the amount I'm saving and all the additional sports channels I'm getting, I can easily live with it. The wife is even on board.
You can add Philo to get History, MTV, Comedy Central, and A&E for $20/month.
Philo + YTTV w/Showtime + HBO Now basically gets you every channel for $90/month (only one I apparently don't get is the Weather Channel). It's steep but Comcast is $170 for that same plan.
I got YouTubeTV on Saturday. I love it. It’s got the Braves, ACCN, ESPNs and Adult Swim. Don’t really need anything else. TV is a smart Samsung TV so I was able to download the app on it. It doesn’t feel like I’m watching a streaming service, it feels like regular cable.
I told Comcast that I will have to leave too. But it’s the beach house, so going streaking works.
