Riq...39 vertical and 11.33 broad jump. That's freakish numbers at his size.

For context, that vertical is #2 and #1 for broad jump at the Combine for S. Also, #2 and #1 for LB.


His 40 would be around #8 at the Combine.

Coaches should've forced the issue of him playing LB here, but maybe the lack of film at the position he projects to may actually be a positive in a way. Let scouts build their own mental picture.

Exactly. If he has NFL potential at LB and we had depth at S why not move him to LB???
 
Was Mason at pro day? I haven’t heard anything about him since he left.

I feel like he has the best shot out of all our guys to make it big. Running back is a dying position and franchises want someone that can produce for cheap. Mason could be that good 3rd down running back that picks up 3-4 yards.
