Pro Day

If Tariq and Juanyeh both make pros, it will be another HUGE black eye on Tech coaching.
So it’s a black eye that the players have developed skills necessary to go pro as well as developing in their strength and conditioning enough to impress at combines and pro days? So that’s in spite of the coaches and not a product of the coaches? Man, some of y’all will look to anything and everything to whine about. You’re the same guy that just posted that it will be a miracle if Tech players improve over the next two years.

If we had NFL-caliber talent in the secondary and still managed to finish dead ööööing last in pass defense, how is that NOT an indictment of our coaching?

So which one do you find attractive, harry potter or the one that got plastic surgery on one side and a stroke on the other?

It’s not about attractive/not attractive. It’s about deserted island you and them, which order.

No I in team. 1 player does not make a team. Player number 2 did not want to play where he is now projected to play in the NFL so he was basically playing out of position his entire college career. Pretty obvious if you aren’t looking for something to whine about.

It is, and the people responsible for coaching the secondary were fired.

Were Tariq and Juanyeh both part of the 2017 class? Was that the first class after Stansbury started pumping money back into recruiting?

Good point. I was thinking more along the lines of player development - not coaching the unit as a whole which seems to be where the issues came in.

Tariq and Juanyeh were really big fast athletes before this coaching staff got here. That is what will get them a shot at playing at the next level, and has nothing to do with the current coaching staff helping them get to the next level.

Ok, you keep telling yourself that.

Please don't let your hate for the coaching staff force you to post stupid stuff.

People acting like when Collins calls us a developmental program that it means anything terribly different from when Paul Hewitt would say the same thing. Focus on individual skill, incompetence in having an effective team.

Pre-snap communication problems is the new can't inbound the ball.
Calling timeout on a random third down early third quarter because we couldn't get the play in with enough time on the play clock only to commit a pre snap infraction coming out of the timeout or have a loss of yardage play. Yeah, it's eerily similar to me.

There's a lot of merit to this. We looked like we had a bunch of combine ready players in the secondary all season long. If someone can't see that, they didn't want to.

I actually didn’t know that. I just thought the ratings were x out of ten. I’m guessing omnipotech thought the same but that’s a guess.
