Listened to the Todd Stansbury Podcast and the new rules are going to trip up fans and the security team.

Only clear bags allowed -> Bag checks at North & South ends of the stadium means double handling fans that bring bags/purses larger than 4.5" x 6.5".

Clear, plastic, empty water bottles -> People backtracking to throw things away or arguing that their Nalgene bottle is clear, plastic, and empty and should be allowed.

Seat cushions are kinda allowed -> People will bring cushions with pockets and then not want to throw them away. The arguing with ticket takers will create delays.

Although attendance will be down for Alcorn State and the crew has experience from the Atlanta United experience, lines will take a while to process. Then, 3 weeks later, everything will be forgotten for the Clemson game and we'll do this again.

Go early so you do not have to listen to idiots complain (or worse, the guy that thinks he found a loophole to exploit).

Glad you posted something on this. I was reading the flyer that they sent out regarding the policy and I just didn't get the logic in it.

Supposedly it is to streamline security, but it sounds like it is just going to make it worse. Small bags are still allowed, so those will have to be searched. Does it take less time to search a small bag than a big bag? I'm no security expert but to me it seems like there's no time savings. And the things you point out will cause more delays.

Only clear bags allowed? At all?
Only clear bags allowed (except clutch purses < 4.5" x 6.5" or bags containing medical devices, which have to be inspected by an official medical device inspector). Also, I bet you can bring in an insulated bag with baby food for a baby-in-arms, but that isn't clearly stated.

Similarly: seat cushions are allowed, but cannot have pockets or zippers (unless the zipper exists only to allow the cushion to be removed, i.e. it does not create a compartment other than the compartment which holds the cushion).

Basically, you can bring a small bag of air in and an empty bottle. Stansbury met with GT police and reviewed their recommendations, Yada Yada, Homeland Security,....

Basically, Stansbury can suck a big rod. Are you reading this, Stansbury? Suck it.

Sometimes I wonder what the hell yall are trying to take into the game to complain this much. Eat at the tailgate. Put on your sunscreen beforehand. Buy a god damn coke when you get inside. And date a girl with big enough tits to sneak a flask in.

Some people have, like, kids, or something. I dunno.

Not sure why, never had an issue before. The people you don't want to be stuck behind are the ones arguing about bag size or the necessity of a diaper bag.

Or the people being asked to empty the contents of their cargo shorts. Good for you if you’ve never been searched.
