Quasi Tech Fans

We were charter members of both the SEC and the Metro Conferences. We were the Notre Dame of the South in between conference memberships.

I guarantee that Coach Dodd thought he ööööed up wrt to the MS schools when we failed to get voted back into the SEC. Dodd DID put us behind the 8 ball. Johnson IS currently the best option for our head coach due to many circumstances that Bobby Dodd is partially responsible for. None of that diminishes Dodd's legacy as a coach. It's just a realistic evaluation of our current situation.

Some great points. He was so close to having about 8 undefeated seasons. His losses to the powers of the SEC were hardly ever more than about 7 points. His mastery of field position and playing penalty free football was uncanny
