Question for real football players with knowledge

A lot will depend on what kind of offense the new coach wants to run. If we try to run a pro style/spread offense, I could definitely see us struggle for a couple of seasons until we got some linemen with some size along with a QB that can throw the ball consistently.

I mean I admire your conviction. I’m just bummed man. I really have no idea who tech is capable of getting or what their capable of doing right now.
 
What happened at Southern after Monken left? Did they have 2-3 down years immediately?
 
We would get a better OL coach, so that would help.

Did it hurt our OL when we changed from man blocking to ankle biting in 2008?

It is, in reality, hard to say. But I can see some pass blocking schemes being somewhat easier on short pass plays than some of the stuff we do now.

No, they hired Willie Fritz and they were really good for a couple of years when he was there. They almost upset us in 2014, won the Sun Belt in their first FBS season. Took the mutts to overtime in 2015 and led them to their first bowl game before leaving to go to Tulane. Then they made a mistake in hiring an assistant from Colorado State who scrapped the option. They had two losing seasons before they got rid of him.

We already suck, and will continue to suck for the next 2 or three years with CPJ. The next five or six years if he stays our coach. Bite the bullet and do it now.

I not asking for this purpose. I’m just asking because I’d like to know. There’s a whole lot of ramifications, such as who would come coach us if he’s gonna suck, but I’m just wanting to know if it’s true

False. There would be no Year 4. He would’ve left for greener pastures after year 3. Amidoingitrite?
