Lemme see what else I can remember
As was said, part of the defensive change was due to injuries. Emphasized a couple of times that we need to stop "something." Said people focussed on the lack of pass defense, but Miami ran the ball well on us too which enabled them to keep the ball away from our offense.
Agreed that we need to find a way to get more pressure on the QB. Caller asked if we planned to blitz more. Said we weren't really changing anything, but then said we'd keep sending more until we could get pressure. He did hint that we would be blitzing more if we found we needed to.
He implied that the offense wasn't as bad as it looked. For one thing we only had the ball a handful of series the whole game. Many times a single block made on the outside would have resulted in a huge gain, but we either didnt make the block or went after the wrong man.
A lot had to do with the two defenses we've faced. Said to see at season's end how many teams gained over 400 on Clemson.
He was a little defensive. Said people shouldn't be in such a panic over a single loss. But mostly he was his usual confident, candid self. Great wisecracks. I swear, he could make you feel pretty good at your own mother's funeral. It is impossible to listen to one of these shows without coming away feeling better about things.
