Roddy Jones RIPS GT

That was brutal. Still too nice, but brutal nonetheless.

All those dumbasses talking about our roster being turned over and in a better spot from a recruiting and talent point of view. You got sold a bill of goods and let a snake oil salesman convince you the talent was to blame for his ööööty transition and coaching ability.

Listen closely around the1:02:00 mark, you choads.

We could have prime Tom Brady at QB throwing to Demaryius Thomas and Calvin Johnson behind a superbowl winning New England Patriots line and this staff would still öööö it up.

He’s got a lot of numbers wrong (Lewis’s record and tenure, how many games Collins has won, the fact that the ND shutout was on the road), which is frustrating, but his assessment is still spot-on.

We could have that combo and the PJ Fan Club would still gripe about not Death Marching and "We want the TO back!".
And no matter how many coaches and former players tell you the current roster is complete öööö with identical results from his first game you’ll still sound like “hurr durr Geoff Collins tellz meh der talent bad mus B tru tho hurr durr”

~G**** is 10-27 in 3 1/3 seasons
~B*** L**** was 11-19 in 2 3/4 seasons, with two 5-wins seasons (following Ross, so with some of his players).
~Bill Curry was 8-24-1 in his first 3 seasons, as an Independent with a program that may have died if not for Homer Rice.

Roddy touched upon it, and he was going in the right direction, right now is the lowest point in Georgia Tech football history.

L**** was followed by George O’Leary, who, after going .500 in his first two seasons, won 42 games over his next five. Curry won 20 games in his final three seasons, average but not terrible, and of course Ross came in and won a MNC in year four.

I know I’m at my lowest point as a fan going back to the 70’s. It’s frustrating, demoralizing and sad.
