As GoGaTech shows above, we *are* taking 25'ish guys a year and are always starting the season at 85. Let's not act like you guys wouldn't be absolutely killing Collins if he were over-signing and processing like crazy. We are losing, so he can do no right, basically.

25 x 5 = 125 and you’re allowed to have 85 so we’re looking at 8 per year of R-FR & up group graduate before year 5, enter NFL draft, get medical, enter the portal or quit. It’s a little less than 1/10 of the core roster annually and if spread out over 5 years is a little less than 2 of the original 25 heads per year. Does this seem unreasonable?

I'm talking about the current model... taking 25 HS signees plus whatever transfers we want/need. 25+ per "class" is do-able and it's what we're doing, but guys are bitching that we aren't signing 25 HS kids and that's my point... you can't right now in the current landscape unless you have a ton of experienced upperclassmen talent on the roster.
