Bobby had the luck of not having to play FSU,which George had to do. Gailey is doing the same thing, but he's in an even tougher position than O'L: the ACC gets tougher and tougher.Originally posted by ncjacket:
MsTA, I don't know where you're coming from. I saw one post that could be considered negative IMO. For example, I simply said that it took Ross a couple of years to get things going. Is that tearing him down? There are several comments that O'Leary won't be coming back, but I don't think they were tearing anything down. Personally I loved Ross and was devastated when he left. I also liked George and wasn't happy at all when he left. But I don't really want either back. Bobby due to his health problems and doubts that he can do what he once could, and George because the wound is too fresh. They both did great things for Tech.

I wasn't singling out any one person - to me it's a theme for defending Chan and thus to tear down those who were successful before him. I really am disappointed that when looking back we (everyone) take into consideration the contributions that so positively made our programs succeed with those coaches - it's been prevalent since Chan's entry onto this campus, and I find it ironic that anyone would defend him by making those before him look bad when they did good!Originally posted by ncjacket:
