Saban is such a scumbag

He demands perfection. Some people just don't live up this his standards. I know he wants to make everyone better but you can only motivate people so far.

He’s also had turnover at nearly every coaching spot except strength coach for the past 4 years straight. Even more so than his usual turnover. It’s amazing he keeps getting back to the title game at all.

Helps having billion dollar facilities.

Oregon, Texas, USC, Michigan, TAMU, etc etc. it’s still impressive imo. But uga and bama still lost haha.

I think he's a great man and I love him.

The state of Georgia and Atlanta got what they deserved for selling out as hard as they did for that game. Closing school, declaring a state holiday... I am not holding my breath for that happening if we make it that far.

Apparently his smugness runs deep with his players ( and their SEC homerism/bias).

According to LB Dylan Moses, the dwags were the hardest team Bama faced last year, despite getting their öööö pushed in by Clemmons.

Comments on that tweet are GOLD though.

@gtrower
"Kavi Dotson – 'Should’ve been Bama vs UGA for the title. And Clemson vs Texas for the 3rd place game. When as a society are we gonna stop letting plays on the field affect who we decide is better. When, I ask you.'"
Pretty good look

It’s a fair criticism, even if a little direct. Whether you like Saban or not, his success is undeniable. Football is king at Bama...nothing else matters. I would love to be to the point that a loss in a national title game makes a failed season.

Let them keep beating UGA while we are getting our house in order. Our time is coming.

I imagine he is a hard person to work for. No denying he is a great college coach. But, we saw in the NFL, when everyone has talent, what happened.

Salary caps (and salaries at all) do have that effect on oversigning and washing out. He and Dabo are proof positive that you can be a mediocre coach but win it all if you A. recruit well, and B. surround yourself with good staff.

Every CEO takes credit for success and gets a big payout for failures, even though it is mostly on the backs of others.

maybe saban was guilty of what he's accusing the staff he lost of doing.

last year in Miami (2006):
6-10 overall
1-4 in last five games
0-3 in last three

I don't think it reflects badly on him at all. He even states that he is not being critical and that it is simply a challenge for them. Seems like a legitimate problem. Furthermore, it is reasonable to hypothesize that Bama has a bigger problem with this than Clemson at the moment due to tenure at the top.

They hire excellent backup coaches at every position. They have st least twice as many coaches thaneverybody else.
