IDK but how did Judkins enter the portal after Jan 2 and yet be able to transfer to Ohio St?

He took over a dumpster fire that Jimbo left and some other idiots simply fanned the flames. His roster is 1000% better, and he went undefeated until he played the freaking Mutts. He's absolutely elite. He won't get the job, but let's not pretend he's not a top-tier football coach.

Teams that had late bowl games got an extended window for players to enter the portal. Like to Jan 6th or something. Washington and Michigan have extensions to Jan 13th IIRC.

He's not. Kirby is. Saban was. He's a good coach, but not that good. He squeaked by on some games this season. Without Travis, they probably would have been .500
 
Y’all need to quit pretending that Coach Great Clips is a good coach. He just happened to be paying players before NIL was a thing and so had a leg up on everyone else. He couldn’t coach his way out of a wet paper bag. He has better players because he bought them and his employer has no scruples as long as he wins.

This is not totally correct. There was another coach between Fischer and Norvel. Maybe only lasted one year. In way over his head and, I think, they ousted him for smoking dope on school property during practice. I'm fuzzy on the details. Maybe just rumors. Heard that from some FSU Boosters.

Sorry man, but you can’t fake into winning at any level. Ask any coach, it’s hard winning 1 game, let alone 10+ a year. If it was that simple, CMR would never have been let go.

There are a lot of coaches I don’t like, but winning at an elite level is hard at any level. Jimbo couldn’t do anything will all the resources he had at TAMU. Riley is floundering at USC right now.
