Ewers ankle 'a little tender' after Texas' win

Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers told reporters Saturday that his ankle was "a little tender" after the Longhorns' 31-14 victory over the Kentucky Wildcats, and coach Steve Sarkisian added that it "just kind of kept tightening up on him" in the win.

sec would be stuck with a max of 2 teams in the CFP, and even then the outrage letting a 3 loss team in would be epic. Because we know the CFP would still let a 3 loss sec team in.

Wow. Did my earlier post work out perfectly. And I honestly forgot about Alabama at OU (mainly because OU sucks).That Bama 3rd loss came a week early.

The sec meltdown and excuses, spin, whatever you want to say will be comedy gold on ESPN and XM radio beginning early tomorrow morning. :popcorn:

On second thought, if A&M beats Texas next week, Texas, A&M, UGA and Tennessee will all be tied at 6-2. Head to head won’t work because that all did not play each other. I guess they will have to go down a list of tie breakers.
 
Tennessee, Miami, SMU and Clemson were the biggest winners today. For as much as I hate Miami, please don’t blow it next week.

Just need Vandy to win next week and eliminate Tennessee (who now sits in a perfect situation).

Right now, even ESECPN has the sec down to 3 CFP teams (obviously before the final week of the year and Championship week). Somewhere Sankey is formulating a bunch of propaganda to release tomorrow morning.

ACC Commissioner needs to be lobbying hard for his schools tomorrow and keep on until selections are made. You know Sankey and the ESPN talking heads will be arguing three loss SEC teams from SEC are more deserving than two loss teams from ACC and Big 12. Be clear in your support - if Clemson beats the Gamecocks they should be in even if they are not in the ACC championship game. If SMU and Miami are both one loss teams playing in the ACC championship the loser of their game deserves to be in.

They keep showing crowd shots of UCLA and USC fans attending the game together, apparently friends, staring at their phones together.

This is why nobody gives a öööö about you. I'm glad we got Cal and Stanford and not these spineless casuals. Disgusting.
 
A 3-loss SEC team has demonstrated three times their likeliness to get eliminated in a Playoff. No reason to put them in
