Sat Games 11/23 - SEC in flames

The SEC is as mediocre as the ACc this year, and most years they are carried by two teams and the rest of league is mediocre. This has always been pure hype and circle jerk. I hope uga gets heavy consideration as a 4 loss team for the cfp.
A lot will come to light this coming weekend as to the truth of whether the ACC is equivalent to the SEC. As usual it will be dependent on our performance.

Probably not. When öööö sec teams beat their better teams, it’s because sec so deep. When it happens in the ACC or B12, it’s because ACC/b12 so derp. The narrative has been aggressively sold and propagated for 20 years.
“Say it enough times and it becomes true.” - the Paul Johnson prophecy

ESPN is 100% responsible for the ridiculous narrative. These kids/recruits have literally been hearing it their whole lives…so it’s absolutely no surprise they’re committing to SEC schools no matter how little they’ve accomplished historically.

USC is in a sad state, but maybe they will win this one.
USC was completely knocked down with the flu this week. That said, the O needs a lot of work in 2025. 6-5 and in reality, blew every loss in the 4th quarter when leading. Razor thin margins (which everyone is experiencing in CFB this year).

It has begun. Also total foregone conclusion for five head that we lose next week. This would be the sweetest win of my lifetime. Better than “where’s the sting of these yellow jackets”. better than the kick and the pick. We lost our chance to keep them from a bowl when we got Coxed. Need to cash in

Problem is this. The sec is already 5-2 against the ACC this year.

Miami 41 UF 17
Cal 21 Auburn 14
Mizzou 27 BC 21
Ole Miss 40 Wake 6
Tennessee 51 NCSU 10
uga 34 Clemson 3
Vandy 34 VT 27

Pretty safe to say UF beats FSU next weekend.

Other than that, Clemson really needs to hold serve and beat South Carolina. The sec homers on XM are already making claims to why 9-3 South Carolina should be in the CFP Top 12 Tuesday night.

If Louisville loses to Kensucky AGAIN, that will be another punch to the ACC gut. Zero reason why that should be close.

GT vs uga to me depends on the health of Haynes King.

If the ACC goes anything worse than 2-2 next weekend, expect the narrative to remain.

With Bama's loss, COFH is no longer a playoff game for the gaggers, so potentially good news for us
4 losses for the leg humpers eliminates them. The CFP will have no credibility if they let them in w/ 4 losses regardless of making the SECCG.

Watch for the officiating to be extra bullshit against us.

I really hate to say it, but UGA probably deserves to be in the playoff if they end up 10-3 w/ a loss in the SECCG. Their schedule was significantly more difficult than most of their SEC counterparts, and they will have played a pretty respectable non-conference schedule against Clemson and GT. I think knocking a team out when they lose a title game in favor of someone who didn’t even qualify is a bad look.

All that being said, we’re going to hand them that third loss this week, so it’s going to be a moot point.
