Probably not. When öööö sec teams beat their better teams, it’s because sec so deep. When it happens in the ACC or B12, it’s because ACC/b12 so derp. The narrative has been aggressively sold and propagated for 20 years.

Only way to stop this narrative is to win more of the ACC/sec head to head rivalry games. When UofL keeps losing to Kensucky, and in the case of last year goes to the ACC CG, it doesn help. Kensucky is general fits the name….Sucky. So the 2nd rated ACC team losing to the middling sec team the week before leaves an impression.

Clemson has overall been the only one to hold the rope against a lesser sec team (USCjr).
