I think Cristobal just wanted more points. Thought maybe Chaney would break a run for 6. He’s been around the game long enough to know when you can take a knee. It’s not complicated. Thought he’d be 5-0 moving up in standings and that a better margin would help. He knew what he was doing.

Yeah, the current rankings put more emphasis on margins of victory than in the old days, so that can make a difference when it comes to bowl and playoff picks. I think Cristobal figured a 3-point win over a team that just lost to BG would hurt them in the polls, so he was trying to pad the final score.
 
Honestly, watching Miami fans meltdown and beating them is almost, almost...almost as good as beating Ugag.

Their fan base, players and their douchbag coach are all cut from the same cloth. This is one of the sweetest victories of all time and done in one of the sweetest fashions of all time.

There is no doubt they were trying to rub their win in and pad the stats. They were trying to show off and get some cheap yards and maybe even a score. Pure arrogance and ZERO sportsmanship. Classic ThugU. Maybe they will learn something from it... but I doubt it.

Nah. They were trying to get Cheney a 100 yard game. They were not trying to score. That makes it all the more worthless and dumb what Cristobal did.
 
Yesterday was a different sort of day. Even Kansas State won and is ranked after beating UCF.
 
The Mark Richt post game discussion is classic. I recorded a bit of it. Priceless. He is stunned.

In all honesty I feel this same emotion even more after seeing the play this week. The performance last week is even more confounding and inexplicable. I expect this week's performance to carry over from here on out. Anything less is purely lack of effort.

They were jacking their dicks. And guess what happened? Fool gonna fool. I kind of wonder what their coaches meeting will be like. But knowing the idiot slimeball culture there, they won't learn. They'll do it again. öööö the Canes.
