Scott Frost fired

This is the dumbest possible thing we can do. We are already going to be looking for our next coach from the garbage bin, waiting until the end of the season to start looking ensures the 1 or 2 decent options that might be in there are already taken and we end up with another Geef-quality hire.

I don't know that we have the $$ for who you might be thinking. And it may be the dumbest possible thing to do but I don't think it's going to stop it from happening.

edit: You're wrong btw. The Dumbest Possible Thing To Do would be to give Clown an extension.

We made a terrible decision last year. The only justification for waiting until after this season is to get a new AD in place.

Pretty good assessment.

Nobody is happy with where we are now.

Also, nobody wants to hear the same assholes dump on our program and our QB all week when we have Ole Miss Saturday.

It is game week. Get over yourselves already, couch coaches.
Nah brah...couch coaches ramble on stupidly about the proper way for coaches to communicate timeouts with line judges. :D
Yes you.

If TStan is picking the new coach, we might as well shut the program down.
What we need to do is get Stansbury to list 10
coaches he’d want to hire if Collins had to leave. Pay Sasquatch to do the same. Then hire a search firm, not Nebraska’s or LSU’s or Tennessee’s, etc. Use one a successful school has used like Coastal Carolina or App St, etc. Give them Stansbury’s and Sasquatch’s lists and tell them to go hire anyone not on those lists. We’d have a chance.

Shoe fits, wear it.
I accept your apology. People just need to stop making up imaginary factions of Tech fans to blame and hate. There's nothing likeable about anyone here anyway, and we have an entire state full of barking inbred slugs to hate and that's more fun than screaming at mythical legions of yetmen.

I don't have to. I see it, with every insult made at me. I see it, with people that disregard facts. The number does down down, each week. I will give you that. However; when we win a big game, they will come out in droves. Mark it down... If we when a big game, that is... Personally, I don't Collins makes the rest of the year. I think after we are sitting 1-4, after the Pitt game, he'll be let go. But, we'll see.
I am marking this down because you are flat wrong, and I think you will admit this if/when the time comes. The trouble is that it's highly unlikely that such a time will come. At this point I will be more surprised to see him finish the season, than to see him put in a pink slip performance against Ole Miss. But if he were to surprise us all and we were to win this week, most or all accounts posting explicitly pro-Collins nonsense will be banned for being dupes and/or trolls. We have more people on StingTalk who believe in a pro-Collins army, than we have Collins defenders.

If anyone cites a jts post in argument against what I've just said, you will win a very special and very secret surprise. Hint: I will hit you in your ööööing face.

CPJ comes out of retirement and takes Nebraska back to their bread and butter. Nebraska has been garbage since they abandoned what they did best.
I would jump ship and become a Nebraska fan if that happened

I think Tennessee got it right this time. Heupel looks like he knows what he's doing. Hell, we saw that first hand a couple of years ago.
Pruitt wound up being like milk - a bad choice. A really, really bad choice, although his pedigree would have indicated otherwise. His dad still coaching in the high school ranks?

Anyhoo, an AD I knew some years back said he always had a list of names ready, just in case somebody came to get the coach he had. But I think the same applies if you have a coach whose hot seat is a roaring inferno too.

He beat mediocre Pitt in OT. I'd whoa up on that proclaiming it a good hire.
