I am surprised that these supposed “football” people can’t see the progress we’ve made. I’d expect our staff to be targets as well.

I don't have to. I see it, with every insult made at me. I see it, with people that disregard facts. The number does down down, each week. I will give you that. However; when we win a big game, they will come out in droves. Mark it down... If we when a big game, that is... Personally, I don't Collins makes the rest of the year. I think after we are sitting 1-4, after the Pitt game, he'll be let go. But, we'll see.

We will save as much money as possible and ride him out the rest of the year regardless of the record. Frankly, given our $$$ situation, that's the right thing to do.

I understand that. I am not a fan of this. However; we don't have a donor list, like some colleges do. I get that and that's fair. I just don't like it.

This is the dumbest possible thing we can do. We are already going to be looking for our next coach from the garbage bin, waiting until the end of the season to start looking ensures the 1 or 2 decent options that might be in there are already taken and we end up with another Geef-quality hire.
 
I've heard Stoops, Rhule, Mickey Joseph (current interim HC), Deion Sanders, Luke Fickell, and Lance Leipold - all from FootballScoop.com. They're a pretty solid resource imo. As far as I know, the Rhule rumor has some fire behind that one. I'd say GT's chances of getting any of these guys isn't something I'd bet the house on.
