Scott Frost fired

As I'm getting older I'm starting to realize that good coaches are made by good Athletic Departments. It's the only reason that makes sense when you see things like Scott Frosts situation. It's hard for the best coach to thrive in a bad environment. That's why just firing Collins will not help no matter who the next coach is. Need to fix the entire AD.

How do we "Engineer" a dynamic Athletic Department?

They gave him FOUR full years and three games into a fifth year. Tech fans were calling for CGC to be fired in his third season (some even in his second).

An AD who has presided over a successful program that has been thru multiple coaching changes and each of them been successful.

Even assuming he would come here, IMO there are several other more attractive candidates (if any of them would come here - they weren't beating down the door in 2019).

I don't think we could get BoB, but he would be my first choice of those who might at least possibly come here. Next would be Mike Houston. Others I would take over Frost include Corey Dennis, Jamey Chadwell and Morgan Scalley.

I would even take Matt Ruhle (who I expect the Panthers to fire) over Frost.
 
Scott Frost needs the type of players that you can recruit all over in the south. He couldn’t get that player up too Nebraska.
His Offenses at UCF were innovativ, fast, and fun to watch. Simms would excel in a Frost offense. He does have a weakness of being overly loyal to his friends on his staff.

What I'm saying is that we are going to fire Collins. Probably not today, but soon. A week from this moment, we may be speculating about who the new AD and coach will be. People will mention his name over and over but we are not going to hire Scott Frost.

Some rumbling about Doeren and Clawson as candidates. Both are good coaches.
