SEC Refs

It shouldn't be a home and home unless there's something in it for us. Playing the game at their stadium instead of ours just boosts their program, takes away revenue, subtracts a home game for Tech fans, and gives Georgia State a competitive advantage in their home game.

When is the last time we have played an away game against such a piddly program?

Tulane in 2014 comes to mind

The play where King had his face mask yanked then got a helmet2helmet shot to the back of his head - an outrageous no-call. A couple of phantom holding calls on good GT plays. Just ridiculous.
That was egregious. I lost my öööö at the blatant no call on both of those overt fouls. The officiating was atrocious last night. Key didn’t directly address it, but he had a snarky remark when he joined the ACC huddle around midnight and they asked him about one of our big plays. He said something to the effect of, “well first I looked to see how many yellow flags they threw”

The facemask/headshot within a 3 sec span should be enough evidence for disciplinary action to occur.

Yes. The very definition (2 of them on the same play!) of dangerous play that officiating is supposed to clamp down on. Garbage that the incompetent/corrupt clowns on the field didn't see, even more that the targeting wasn't looked at from the booth. I would hope that the coaches send that clip in.

Like it or not, we’re going to play a G5 team every year. That’s the reality of it. Better to play local teams that will bring more of a crowd.

or an HBCU; oops, I realize that's not a G5, still, they bring a crowd and a good halftime show.

Some of y’all are straight up bitches.

“But what if we lose!?!”

Stop that loser ööööing attitude.
It's a matter of knowing your value. We should get a two for one against G5 teams, especially teams within a few hours of Atlanta. To make matters worse GSU attendance was atrocious but we'll bring 10k+ to their stadium along with the revenue that generates.

Oregon State and Washington State are basically in the Mountain West and we will never get an SEC invite. I didn’t say it was likely. Just more likely than being in the same conference as UGA.
The likelihood of the SEC and BIG10 jettisoning the dead weight and forming an NFL style league with us in it is likely when ESPN and Fox contracts get close to expiring.

I'm guessing the only reason Vanderbilt is doing all the work on their stadium is so the SEC doesn't give them their walking papers.

Exactly. I always thought it was not a good look to dodge the small teams in one’s own backyard.

Please explain how us bringing a crowd to their stadium is a good idea
