NFL finds Patriots employees probably deflated balls
An NFL investigation released Wednesday said that New England Patriots employees likely deflated footballs used in the AFC Championship and that quarterback Tom Brady was probably ''at least generally aware'' of the rules violations.
Troy Vincent, Brady's former teammate, will decide on Brady's punishment, if any.
In post-draft comments Saturday, Belichick said that “from a run-blocking standpoint, I’d say he’s probably ahead of every other player in the draft. Unless there was another one from Georgia Southern or Georgia Tech or whatever, but this guy ran blocked in one game more than some teams did all season.”
Sad that this is all ESPN can think to talk about. For how much longer are we supposed to pretend that the air pressure of a football is an intriguing sports topic?
I didnt realize ESPN has morphed into the NFL now.
Did the Patriots cheat every time they won anything?
How did they get ahold of the text messages? Wouldn't they need a subpoena or something?
I guess on company phones which had records of the text messages, and the NFL asked the Patriots to hand over the records.
Mark Schlereth said:I believe that Brady cheated! I also believe that the Falcons pumping crowd noise in the stadium is far more of an egregious violation
