In the first 2 pages on this forum, you have THREE topics started(and Lord knows how many posts) that either:

1) Tell us we can't win
2) Tell us Paul Johnson is just another Chan Gailey
3) Prove to ST that you don't know what you're talking about

We effing get it, you're unhappy. Why drag the rest of us down with you?

It was ONE LOSS, in Johnson's FIRST YEAR, with a NEW offense, WITHOUT ANY of his players. We have the youngest defense this side of California, and they've had ONE bad game.

This team is currently 6-2, when we weren't even supposed to win 4 this year!

Go join DawgPost.

Bingo! TechinIt is on the mark. This team will be fine! Beat FSU this week and we are back on track. Then everyone will be talking about how PJ in year 1 got the Jackets' FIRST EVER ACC WIN over Florida State.

VT is without quarterbacks, UVA has some tough ballgames and we still get Miami and Carolina. This team can win this conference. Let's trust the staff, get behind the guys, and go get to 7-2 (4-2) on Saturday.

Huh? You're doing exactly what Beej does so often to me - you're putting words in his mouth that are neither what he said, nor what he meant.

I've read nothing he posted that wasn't true; he draws accurate parallels between PJ and the former coach and just as accurately points out the discrepancy between the treatment the two coaches got from the fans.

A significant, very vocal minority campaigned from the time Gailey was hired to get him fired with no more justification than what we now have with PJ. Beej says you should be consistant, but I disagree. The character assisination and nitpicking criticisms that went on ad nauseam against Gailey should never happen against any coach barring a Lewisian collaspe.

I'm glad for the inconsistancy and I sincerely hope we hear NO calls for his firing for years to come. The criticisms I've heard to date, are generally reasonable, even if mostly wrong, and are typical message board vents.

it really bothered me the whole time during Gailey's tenure that any little issue was jumped on by people rabid as dawg fans out to prove how bad Gailey was for GT. it culminated in a new message board and lots of divisions within the GT house.

Let us NOT do that again. if you are unhappy with things, take some time to reflect before spewing poison into the general public. If you are happy, dont go overboard and be ridiculous.

show class and some thought. just because people CAN post whatever they want on these message boards with virtually no consequences doesnt mean that they HAVE to.

Let's stick together this time and get behind the team. Especially at 6-2 with wins over Clemson, Boston College and MSU. If we get fractured again, the program will suffer again.

you can only be as strong as your weakest link -- dont be that link!

I didn't know this place was turning into the Hive. Please say it ain't so.

So if people don't have the same opinion as you then they should be quiet I suppose?

I thought Beestorm already made it clear about posting topics aimed at other posters? I guess some people didn't get the memo.

Go kick his ass if it means that much to you. You know where he sits.

What if you live north of the mason dixon line and thus can't make it to games, which is probably a bigger problem than anything beej says anyway?

Maybe after we beat FSU and rush the field, we can start a ring of death at midfield between everyone who is whining in this thread.
