Paul Johnson will not lose to VT 51-7.

He's a guy who is involved, doesn't stand there with his arms crossed after a bad ref's call. He's a f**king warrior and I love the guy for it.

My perception are that he was an old fuddy-duddy who didn't have a lot of passion. That he was soft on the players and tried to be their buddy rather than instilling a sense of discipline and insisting on 110% effort. That he was, in short, a pro-style coach with pro-style attitudes (I'm sorry, but their ain't no pre-season in college ball.) That he was complacent with 7-win seasons.

Sure, CPJ may have his share of 7-win seasons. But he brings an attitude that is more befitting our Yellow Jackets. That's the key difference.
