Sims

Well, he apparently threw well and ran over a few defensive backs, without heading for the sidelines, as he did here. Maybe alabama should’ve gone after him.
Meh...DB's have to hold up in spring games.

Have they learned he’s made of glass yet?
Seem another QB, Casey, is hurt at his time. He is expected to push for the starting job in August and the fans are happy to have 2 quality QBs because they expect them to get hurt. So not sure what that means.

Lots of big gals in Nebraska and they love reverse cowgirl out in the Midwest.

I'm not a fan of questioning whether inactive/sidelined guys are physically or mentally ready to play, particularly at the college level. Maybe there are guys who would've played through situations Sims did not; I can't speak to what level of pain and discomfort he was in, and to what degree that affected his ability to play.

I do know that he was a guy who showed flashes but never put it together here, and had his development hampered by a clown coach. Frankly, I'm reluctant to cast too many aspersions on any player with options who chose to stick it out for more than a year under the CGC trainwreck.

They have Jerry Tagge on standby just in case. Petitioned for a covid deception and got it.

Me neither, but I do think you should make that determination before the game. Dressing out but refusing to go in is not a good look. That's why they call it a "gametime decision".

That's fair. I've honestly blocked a lot of the details out of my memory, because I was just so over it all at the time.

Pyron went back in with a öööö broken rib

(Sorry, phone trouble tonight)

I think Sims could have handled his situation better. He's young

He will always be the guy who quit us, during a game, when we needed him, after obviously leading the staff to believe he was ready.

I rate no player in the history of our program lower than that.
And he did that while collecting a 6 figure NIL salary from our donors. I’m just short of wishing him to have a career ending injury at Nebraska.

If you’re medically cleared but refuse to play, especially in the uga game, your NIL should have to be repaid.
Wasn’t it the uva game? Game on the line and he refused to go in? Potentially cost us a bowl game

Talk about a lawsuit waiting to happen. Also this would mean the NCAA recognizing pay for play which they are doing everything possible to avoid.
