I feel differently on this. I want us to compete at a higher level than hoping the Liberty bowl invites us over UTEP. The ACC sucks. We should be able to compete in the top 4 of the ACC every year. We hung with eventual national champion at their place for 40 minutes and if not for referee interference the outcome may have been even closer. That’s with a group of kids who were begging for direction and were getting it on the fly. I believe in the coaching staff assembled. No more catch phrases. No more social media bullshjt. Dudes playing football. Time to bang. You’re gonna get your bowl game. Yoh may f* around and get two bowl games within a month of each other in the next couple of years if our offensive and defensive lines come together finally. And I can’t wait to hear you ladies whining about how our bowl game is interfering with your NYE midnight plans. GO JACKETS GD

I hear you and I like the enthusiasm. I just want to go to a bowl game. I’d like that bowl game to be in Orlando but after 5 years of sitting at home, I’d take Shreveport.

we won five games last year under last years circumstances. That was with goofball having his hand it for a significant portion of the season. 6 wins will be disappointing given our schedule

Is our schedule particularly easy next season? Based on opposing win % we have the sixth hardest schedule in the ACC and the 37th hardest in the nation. So not a deadly schedule but not really a powder puff one either.

I'd say six is the minimum to not be a disappointment. Seven is a good target to shoot for. And eight would be a resounding success which would bode very well for the future.

The difference is that you’re projecting the performance of the team. I’m telling you what I want to do in December 2023, which is go to a bowl game. I will be disappointed if I don’t go to one. I will be happy if I go to one.

I don’t actually know our schedule. I just know we play a lot to ACC games

No one is stopping you from going to a bowl game if that is what you want to do. And I believe there are two in Orlando. So have at it.
