Problem is Kirby is no Saban. Did Alabama suffer any sort of defensive letdown at all this year without Kirby? Huh. Wonder why.

Saban would've waited till NSD to let the kid know. At least uga let him know early enough to get picked up by someone else.
 
I dont get why Chubb and Michel came back. NFL running backs are a dime a dozen and have a short career so any RB with a chance to make a roster needs to leave for the NFL as soon as eligible to give them the best chance to get that 2nd contract where the real money is made. Even one extra year of mileage can be the difference between a 2nd contract or not.

Kid is trying to enroll in less than a month and they ditch him? Kudos, Smart. Kudos. Saban gets away with this shit b/c he wins. Let's see how long fans put up with it with 7 win seasons.

It says something when you major in Athletic Training at uGA and can't make academic all-American.

Seriously, Cubb's major is "Athletic Training." From their website:

I read that as him spending time in the role of a trainer, not an assistant. I would assume that just playing football wouldn't satisfy that requirement any more than being a student would satisfy requirements to be a teacher.
